Noah Myers was fined for taking his son out of school for a couple of days to support a cousin participating in an international sporting event. He took his other son out of a different school at the same time, that school wouldn't authorise the absence either but didn't fine...

We need to stop the destruction of family life based on fabrication of evidence by many professionals who gang up/conform with their mates. It is wrong for professionals to fabricate evidence for their own gains and for a laugh. It is painful for the kids and parents who are threatened with kids’ removal from the family where they belong. I readly agree to the removal of kids IF there is very strong evidence that the kids are ill-treated, but how can families be given a fair chance to be heard if corruption is involved? Who feels it, knows it…

Would like to see a sample web-link of a FULL case `Procedure` that has or would succeed for a family who are victims of State Abuse; where such victims of State Crimes and/or Hysteria and abuse of the public’s (and children’s) Rights can EASILY find a place where all the procedure and likely pitfalls are clarified in a step by step basis (including all the paperwork for a case, and contacts and references to law): So that ordinary people who cannot get legal aid have some source of a case which frames their/our understanding of law and how to obtain Justice (because to date it has been IMPOSSIBLE to have that for working-class people. Rather than have a line of public officials to Judges mislead us constantly (as we have found to be the case thus far [over 7-years]).
(Personally, we are at the Supreme Appeals Court with our case/appeal [now from abroad).

35 years ago I lost custody of my 3 year old daughter via the Sheriff Court in Edinburgh when I left my husband. I was only 23 and had no support from any quarter. It nearly killed me. I have brought up my young son who is now 12 years old and I am continually praised for being a great mother and how well behaved and polite my son is. No-one knows that I was branded a bad enough mother to lose my precious daughter 35 years ago when I had done nothing wrong. I didn’t drink or take drugs. All I needed was some support. The Family Court in Edinburgh sent an ‘assessor’ out to visit myself and my little girl in an isolated village in the West of Scotland, but he drove his landrover into a ditch on the way and never made it until 11pm at night when my daughter was in bed. But he spent the whole of the next day with my husband and my daughter and wrote a glowing report about how strong their relationship was, recommending that my husband got custody. He never even saw me with my daughter. It was a travesty unknown to the public, with no accountability for social workers or the court assessor. I rarely saw my daughter thereafter due to deliberate alienation, again with no accountability. It is a different time now, with internet and email, and I would never, EVER, let such a travesty happen to me again. There MUST be transparency and accountability with ALL public offices and courts, across the board.

Public servants must be accountable to the public in a law abiding democratic society or it does not teach respect for them or the law.

The problem is local authorities have adopted constitutions which say no member of staff can be held personally accountable by a member of the public when they fail. This is despite the fact that local authorities employ a huge number of people who have a legal duty to protect children but history proves self regulation does not work. According to a recent Parliamentary briefing memoranda there are no prosecutions explicitly in respect to sections 1(2) and 17 of the Children and Young Peoples Act 1933. If this neglect and abuse data were published it would become clearly apparent to all that the UK Government has not one iota of interest in child protection.

As someone who has been the victim of a serious miscarriage of justice and still fighting to clear my name, i understand how important it is for greater transparency and accountability.
I doubt that less than 10% of the population of this country know that someone can stand trial and be convicted on nothing more than insinuation, hearsay, inference and character deformation. no proof of wrong doing is now required. could this be why our prisons are overcrowded and there is a two and a half year backlog for cases to be heard by the Criminal Case Review Commission.

The “justice” system seems now there solely to benefit the careers of those at the CPS and the police. sending someone to prison because the authorities Think they committed an offence rather than proving they committed an offence is not justice.
This is one of many dark secrets that the public should know about but this information is hidden or buried, we all assume that one is innocent until PROVEN guilty……not any more.

I was born into a United Kingdom that valued fairness, honesty, compassion and justice, where has that country gone?

Professionals standing in courts and lying under oath…..and taking my children away!! My medical evidence wasn’t even called/ordered from my GP….and all the positives in our lives being ignored…..everyone is in cahoots with one another. ….Our case was lost before we even went into court 😢😔
